I wanted to check some posts yesterday but that flood preventing thing told me to wait 5 seconds. I forgot exactly how it happened, but i think i went back really fast and tried again only to be banned from your site. Luckily i have a dynamic ip, but one of them is now banned while i didn't really do anything Confused
So my suggestion is to reduce that flood prevention from 5 seconds to 2 seconds or something since it can be really annoying Wink
Of course that decision is totally up to you guys, just thought I'd let you know Smile

the system was disabled earlier today, apparently it was staying on strict for some users, even tho all tests show its on "loose"

all tests i did showed i had to open 15 pages in rapid succession to get warned, and about 30 to get a 15 minute ban.

as for times, for the Flood detection system, these are the only options we have.

Enable
Disable

Agressivness:
Strict
Loose

Ban Time:
15 mins
1 hour
(and a bunch more higher)

We completley disabled this system, as it has been playing up a bit, mainly refusing to unban people after the 15 minutes.

Don't want to be a pain in the B-hind here but that system is active again and it's annoying the **** out of me Razz
Of course I fully understand if you need it for safety reasons.
But if you don't really need it, would you consider disabling it? I have to wait 5 seconds each time to go from one page to another Confused

Thanks in advance,
TD
