Its a comedy, based on a space station.
(im actually going to get working on the first ep in the next few days, so hopefully the first ep with storyline will be out within the next two weeks)
i will say this, the series is called Spatial Madness because the captian has been on the space station, alone, for quite a while, and he has developed a severe case of "Spatial madness" (space madness) which his crew find out when they arrive.

Its going to take a little longer that 2 weeks because EA suck nuts,
Because of my awesome ammount of ram, or the fact that im on 64 bit... or both... the game will only load just after an initial boot up, then after i exit the game, it will not load again untill i reboot. (well, i can try loading it again, but it just freezes the PC)
so im going to have to set up a dual boot into 32 bit XP before i can film a lot in a short amount of time.
i will do that over the next few days, then i will commence filming.

Its now delayed even more now, i need to format since installing SP2, because as always, after updating windows, it fucks EVERYTHING.
but im also saving for new PC parts.
attached is my listed upgrades, almost $900AU worth, i should have it all within 3 months, then iil format and pump out an ep straight away.

Well, the PC is up and running, quite well also.
however, before i started pulling the old parts out, my Seagate 1TB Drive died.
it has EVERYTHING on it, from all the storylines, to all my music, tv shows, and ofcource, Porn.
Fucking infuriated,i googled... and its not just me.
Quote:
The following text is.... borrowed from www.theinquirer.net/in...11-failing
SEAGATE'S FLAGSHIP desktop Barracuda 7200.11 drives, in particular the 1TB (ST31000340AS) units, are failing at an alarming rate and prompting outrage from their faithful customers.
A new self-bricking feature apparently resides in faulty firmware microcode which will rear its ugly head sometime at boot detection. Essentially the drive will be working as normal for a while, then - out of the blue - it'll brick itself to death. The next time you reboot your computer the drive will simply lock itself up as a failsafe and won't be detected by the BIOS. In other words, there's power, spin-up, but no detection to enable booting.
Naturally the Seagate forums (as well as many other customer-driven forums, like etailers and hardware sites) are flooded with testimonies of customers' experiences with Seagate support. These are helpful enough to ship you a new drive, as per the warranty, but invariably the drives end up bricking as well.
Fail
RMA and Data Recovery Centres are also reporting that there's a very high rate of failure on these drives. One user in particular reports having set up a 6 TB drive array and over the course of 1 month having half the drives fail on him. No official stats are available, but at least one RMA middleman has told us there's about 30-40% failure rates.
According to data recovery experts Seagate has diagnosed the problem and issued a new firmware to address it. However, drives that have already been affected can't have the firmware applied to them due to their locked-down status.
Users are extra-peeved because beyond the usual RMA drill, if they want to recover the data on those drives they can get stuck with a hefty data recovery bill to pay.
Over a month into the problem Seagate had still not come back to customers with an official solution. Despite the company updating the firmware on newer drives, it has issued no recall on the firmware-defective drives that are still on shop shelves. They must be waiting for some grand event to come and go, say a shareholder meeting?
Drive origin and firmware seem to be Thailand and SD15, but at least one user reports having had identical problems with a unit from the Wuxi(ng) fab and the SD35 firmware.
Either way, ive been in contact with these idiots, and being seagate, they have said "we've never heard of this problem"
Fucking bullshit artists.
they told me the only thing i could do is send it back for a replacement.
so, i thaught about it, and as always, google is your friend.
i found a method to Fix the bastards.
www.overclock.net/hard...-pics.html
i have the Nokia CA-42 cable on order from Sydney, it should arrive in a few days, and then i will recover all my data to my spare empty, New 1TB HDD.
then i will wait for the stupid SMART Data to clock over in the 7200.11 SD15 rendering it useless again (should only take a few weeks)
then iil send that cunt of a thing back to seagate for a replacement.
but yeah, once i recover the data with the above link to my spare new 1TB drive, iil commence filming. should be within 2 weeks for me to begin filming.

Dont worry, when i get my data back, im going to talk to the script writer, and see if we cant aim some jokes at seagate.
Might see if i can get the one about "Crewman Turner Losing... [plot point]" replaced with Seagate 11 series HDD failed and we lost the [plot point].
iil see what he says.
as the whole joke about Crewman Turner is kind of an inside joke, as it would only be funny to people that knew this person IRL, such as me, marc, AusSpyder, and thats about it.

Yes, all my porn!
also an update:
i have successfully got Sims2 running in 1920x1080, a rez it cannot do by default. which means the episodes will be released in 1080p.
i just did some filming tests, and i have got it recording with Max GFX settings at 1080p at a stable 30fps. i could have taken it to 60fps, but 30 is enough.
