Watch Initial D season 4, all cars racing in it youve seen backfire atleast once.
also, think about race tuned cars, like V8 Supercars, or DTM, or the BTCC, they always backfire on revdowns.
its a part of the tuning system, they release off the accelerator and a crapload of fuel still goes into the engine, does not get burned, and ignights on the exit of the exhaust pipe from the heat.
its normal to see on cars youd expect to see racing. Especially if they are tuned.
